The Riddle of Satan’s Cube

Book four in the Carl Prescott series is the most mind-boggling of all, and perhaps the final book in the series. At the end of Vengeful Gods, our hero found himself kidnapped and taken to a Limbo Universe, with no reality, only the three aspects of God and the disembodied souls of all life. There, Emmanuel, Mort, and Luce bicker and blame one another for their miserable state. Soon enough, the true God of the Limbo Universe makes himself known. Satan has finally achieved his goal to rule over the universe, even if it is void of life and physical existence.

To prevent Carl from helping Manny, Mort, and Luce, Satan expels him and strands him in yet another universe. Somehow, Carl Prescott must undo Satan’s victory. Fortunately for our hero, the most ancient Hand of God arrives in time. Lord Zed was the Hand of God in the first universe that ever existed. Now he and Carl must work together to salvage reality, or Satan has won for all eternity. From the back cover:

Carl Prescott has been spirited away to Limbo, an emptiness of lost souls where the gods bicker and fight, but will not admit their failure. Even in this terrible place, our hero encounters oddly familiar spirits. When Aida and Sylvia arrive to help, Satan, the true Lord of Limbo, expels them to seal his ultimate triumph over God.

Carl Prescott and Aida Whitehall arrive in yet another universe with even more similarities to their own. This universe is almost dead, so they must hurry. The Sun will explode in days, and if they cannot stop Satan before then, the Cycle of the Universes will end, and Limbo will exist for eternity. Fortunately, old and new friends can help.

Satan’s Cube is a nonstop action adventure spanning all of creation from the birth of Emmanuel to the end of our universe, and beyond. Everything relies on Carl Prescott yet again. He must find a way to destroy the Cube, or we will all be enslaved by Satan until the end of time.
